Activision Blizzard says in a notice to the Employment Development Department (EDD) that it will be cancelling 140 jobs at the Blizzard Entertainment studio starting October 11, 2024. The sectors reportedly include accounting, software engineering, World of Warcraft if director, artists and game producers, as well as several other sectors.
